Well, a week has passed, and what a week it’s been! The new site has had a few visual tweaks, we’ve modified it slightly for IE viewers and the changes are still ongoing. On top of all this we produced another awesome issue (if I do say so my self) even though it almost killed me. Quick note, if you’re ill, sleep deprived and trying to manage both a new website and a new issue, thing’s aren’t going to go too smoothly!

This issue marks the end for the current grunge-look as we move towards a cleaner, more simplified look. If all goes to plan that should be implemented next month which means even more work for me! As always, everything we do here is off of our own backs, we’re self taught in everything we do, we’re not experts we’re just gamers like you. So on that note, time for some shameless plugging…

Because we’re just like you, we don’t have millions in marketing, so we rely on you telling your friends. Print magazine sales are dying the world over as digital takes the lead, but we don’t want to be staring at plain old HTML every time we get our gaming fix, we want attractive layouts and cool designs, and that’s why we’re here! We want to make digital magazines the way to get your gaming info, and we want it to come from a reliable source – the gaming community! We’re always on the lookout for new writers, with a new website to populate and a pretty successful magazine under our belt, we want to improve, we want to be the best, and we can only do that with your help! So, if you’re a budding writer or a bit of a whiz with the old adobe products, get in touch! If you’re neither but want to play your part, leave comments, tell your friends or help us out promoting ourselves!

So, enough of that nonsense, how’s it going after a week? To be honest, not too bad at all! we’ve got plenty of content to launch with which will be added throughout the coming weeks, with some juicy Q&A’s some regular features and of course this amazingly informative blog of mine… I swear, I’ll get the other guys involved soon. There has been the odd hiccup, mostly caused by my discovery of Assassins Creed II for PC, if you haven’t played any of the Assassins Creed games, I’d definitely recommend playing them both, the original may be a little repetitive, but it’s essential to the storyline. The second takes the successful aspects of the original then mixes it all up with some variety, it’s addictive as hell and has more secrets than the magic circle. Hint, when you play the game and discover the secret videos, when unlocking them, look around for hidden binary, hex, cryptic and morse code, it gives you an insight into the history of the world and manages to tie it all into the storyline.

So enough of my gaming addiction and lack of sleep, I’m back to full strength now and have managed to get back to a normal sleep pattern (thank god for beer), so expect amazing things in the future!
