Thirteen1 January 2011 Issue Available Now!

issue34 T1’s first edition of 2011 is hot off the digital press, guiding you through the year ahead with previews, first-looks, round ups, and more “happy new year” cliches than you can shake a stick at!

Didn’t get enough from Santa? Or maybe you did but are just feeling greedy?
Either way, head over to the latest issue of Thirteen1 and you’ll see they’ve teamed up with top browser-based MMORTS, Zorg Empire, to give you the opportunity to win an Android Tablet PC ePad! A perfect post-Christmas present if ever there was one.

This month sees Thirteen1 go DC Universe Online crazy, thanks to SOE letting them run free on the PS3 beta over the festive period. See what T1’s infamous DrunkenGamer, a self-proclaimed MMO and comic book aficionado, thinks to one of his most anticipated online gaming releases, ever.

With plenty of time to enjoy and catch up on gaming over Christmas, the DrunkenGamer has put together a special MMO Round Up for 2011, just to make sure you don’t miss the year’s key releases. He’s nice like that.
He covers everything from Rift and The Secret World, to Mythos and Faxion in his quest to make sure you spend the next 12 months gaming online alongside him.
As if that wasn’t enough, you’ll also find the lovable inebriate pining over RIFT in his latest Wish You Were Here feature, waxing lyrical about all things Mario after the Italian plumber’s 25th anniversary, and harassing the poor guys at Frogster for yet more information on their upcoming MMO, Mythos.

Thirteen1 have proudly teamed up with Zorg Empire to start the year with a bang. Not only is the browser-based MMORTS a definite one to watch in 2011 – you can find out why in the issue – they’ve joined forces to give you the opportunity to win a Tablet PC, all in celebration of Zorg Empire’s 2nd anniversary.

If online gaming isn’t your thing, T1 is packing previews of some great upcoming releases, such as Lace Mamba’s Edna & Harvey and Gray Matter, as well as Iceberg’s latest eerie offering, Baron Wittard.
Thirteen1’s popular gaming soundtrack section is fresher and better than ever for 2011, with musical maestro Alec musing about the sounds that bring your favourite games to life – all in the company of some of the most famous composers working in the industry today!

As if all that wasn’t enough, you can also find top tips on how to get a job in gaming, see who ranked number one in T1’s countdown of 2010’s biggest gaming heroes, win yourself some free gaming goodies, follow the DrunkenGamer’s dev diary, and read up on even more reviews and previews.
What a way to start the year!

Happy new year folks, enjoy the issue.

Cool, thanks for the new issue.

On a sidenote: what happened to the Dec 2010 issue? http://www.thirteen1.com/issues/ only shows until Nov 2010.
And is the Dec 2010 issue available as PDF yet?

  2. DrunkenGamer says:

the back issues page should be updated in the next few days. December should already be there but apparently something has gone wrong there.

The PDF downloadable version should be online around the middle of next week, the artist is making the needed changes for the PDF version as we speak
