Taken from a post with the Lead Designer – Peter Ilves of Bloodline Champions we can see what exciting things are in store for us in upcoming patches! (Including work on a new Bloodline)
In this months Developer Update there are several new features that have been discussed that I am going to summarise, you can view the full post including more details here.
The launch season has pretty much just begun and a new patch has been released with some updates and additions. With that there is also a couple of balance changes and most notably a few bigger changes, as the ones to the Vanguard and the Guardian.
During the launch season eSport manager James “2GD” Harding will be hosting weekly tournaments on the site http://www.glhf.gg/. This allows the community to take part in some tournament action before the launch of Season 1 which is planned to go live in March. With Season 1 they will introduce a couple of major updates which are sure to get you salivating.

Announced on the Bloodline Champions Release Event work has begun on a new Bloodline, which I’m sure everyone is excited about! Here’s a concept of the sword wielding Bloodline. The details on the Bloodline will be revealed later on.
Emote System
An Emote System will be implemented so you can taunt and mock your opponents. With the Emote System you will be able to play all kinds of emotes, such as waving, dancing, running around like a chicken and more!
You can check out a preview of the Blood Priest dance emote below!
Other than these new features you can expect marketplace updates, new items, new maps and new achievements! A lot of awesome stuff to look forward to in March and April!
Game Balance
Currently the focus is on the different tank Bloodlines since there are a few changes that they would like to do in that area. Also a closer look on the latest Bloodlines; the Stalker, Blood Priest, Guardian and Seeker, to ensure that they are well balanced and have an interesting play style.
Don’t worry they will be looking at pomp, nomad and the other bloodlines as well!
On the Horizon
Some features that we can expect to see in the future include; replay support, clan support, updates to game modes and updates to the Bloodgate GUI.
