Duke Nukem Forever – Delayed Again

duke-nukem-forever It was inevitable, as soon as we thought we were finally going to get our hands on the eagerly awaited Duke Nukem Forever, it’s been delayed by another month.

At least the news of this setback has been given to us in the form of a pretty amusing video, brought to us by Gearbox Head Randy Pitchford. With the history this games had it’s hardly surprising there’s been another delay but I’m sure it will be worth the wait.

And if there are anymore setbacks I’m sure they can always rename the title to ‘Duke Nukem Forever Delayed’.

After waiting over a decade the ridiculously long awaited release was due on May 6th, but developer Gearbox has announced that the shooter will now be released in the UK on June 10th.

Angry Birds Rio Launches In App Stores Worldwide

Rovio today announced the availability of their latest game, Angry Birds Rio, on iOS, Mac and Android platforms. Starting today, the game can be downloaded from the App Store for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, from the Mac App Store for Mac computers, and for Android devices in the Amazon Appstore.

The game was developed in conjunction with Twentieth Century Fox, and features the animated stars of the studio’s upcoming film, RIO, which debuts in theaters on April 15. The game was officially launched in Rio de Janeiro at the world premiere of RIO.

Angry Birds Rio will also be available in the Ovi Store for Symbian^3 smartphones and the Palm App Catalog for Palm WebOS devices on April 8.

GAME Grabs Mortal Kombat Exclusivity

mk8 Mortal Kombat Kollector’s Edition only available through GAME and Gamestation

Publisher Warner Interactive has announced that the Kollector’s Edition of upcoming console fighter Mortal Kombat will be available exclusively in GAME and Gamestation.

The SKU will include a figurine of iconic brawlers Scorpion and Sub-Zero, a 110+ page art book and an in-game Retro Ninja Costume.

Xbox 360 owners will also get an avatar costume while PS3 will receive MK-themed avatars and themes.

Mortal Kombat will be released on Xbox 360 and PS3 on April 21st.

PES 2011: Football Evolved, Price Reduced

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has announced that its popular PES 2011 title for PlayStatIon®3, Xbox 360 and PC-DVD will be released at a new, lower price from April 1st.

Originally released on October 8th, the game will now be repackaged as part of Sony’s Platinum range with a new £29.99, the Xbox Classics label for the same price, and as a £19.99 Euro Classics title for PC.

Total Wipeout Coming To Kinect

Weekend light entertainment show Total Wipeout is to get a video game version of Xbox 360 Kinect courtesy of Activision.

Currently announced only for the US, Wipeout in the Zone will sport all the licenses from Endemol’s ABC version of the program including the likenesses of hosts John Anderson, John Henson and Jill Wagner.

“The ABC hit show Wipeout continues to thrill a growing fan base of viewers with hilarious new obstacles,” Activision Publishing’s David Oxford said.

Bloodline Champions – Class Coverage #3

confrontationvangnomad2 We’re onto week 3 and we’ve just reached the mid point of the weekly coverage with only 2 more weeks ahead of us.

So let’s take a look at what this week has to offer us. With none of the new Bloodlines this week we just have 4 solid ‘original’ Bloodlines so to speak.

If this is your first time reading a weekly class coverage, I’m going to aim to give you a good brief insight into each Bloodline as they rotate out every week. Because learning a new Bloodline every week is a pretty daunting task, as a free-to-play player you can sometimes feel overwhelmed. But don’t worry I’m here to help.

I’m hoping with these overviews you can get a feel for what the class is and how it plays, helping you judge what you might want to play next.
