Dragonica: Guardians’ Dungeon and Seasonal Delights

Gala Networks Europe is delighted to announce the launch of a new Elemental system dungeon and some seasonal additions to the game, all of which will go live tomorrow, December 13th 2011.
The new content comes just a few weeks after the launch of New Origin, the biggest expansion to the game yet.
Dragonica’s Christmas Event is sure to keep players happy over the festive period. An exciting event will be running where players can gain cool functional items every hour and there’ll be a seasonal snow fall event for the chance of even more bonuses.

Blockbuster beats Avatar to become fastest entertainment product to reach the milestone.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has smashed through the $1 billion barrier just 16 days after release, Activision has revealed.
The feat makes it the fastest entertainment property ever to reach the milestone, beating the blockbuster movie Avatar’s 17 day record. (more…)

Command & Conquer Generals 2 Unveiled

EA has revealed a new Command & Conquer PC strategy game is in the works at BioWare Victory.
Command & Conquer Generals 2, which hits shelves on PC in 2013, was unveiled at the Spike Video Game Awards in the US this week. It will be developed at BioWare Victory, the studio formerly known as Victory Games.
“We’re bringing BioWare’s vision for emotionally engaging gameplay and great attention to quality to the strategy genre and the Command & Conquer franchise,” said EA’s GM of BioWare Dr Ray Muzyka.
“I am excited to welcome BioWare Victory to our label. They are a great addition and the team is working hard to make sure Generals 2 truly immerses and engages players into this intense, gritty, modern war experience.” (more…)
Argos Withdraws From Pre-Owned Market

Generalist retailer Argos has ceased offering second-hand video games.
MCV understands this extends to Argos’ bricks-and-mortar outlets, with all stores instructed to stop accepting or selling pre-owned video games.
The company’s website previously allowed customers to check how much credit they would receive for selected titles, but now states: “We no longer offer a video games trade-in service”.
The retailer entered the pre-owned market back in March 2010, trialling the scheme in its North East stores. It later rolled out its trade-in offer to all stores in July 2010. (more…)
