Mythos Online Closed Beta Giveaway!
Our love for Mythos is hardly the best kept secret in the world…in fact, it’s probably one of the worst kept secrets of all time.
We know, we know, it’s strange to love a game before it’s even released, but Frogster’s upcoming MMORPG is a bit different. It’s one of the first games we ever covered and instantly adored here at Thirteen1, before it was cruelly snatched away from us and plunged into none-existence back in 2008, thanks to some sort of epic financial cock up.
The original guys making it went on to make Torchlight instead (which was rather good if you remember..you see why we liked it so much, eh?), apparently dooming us to never experience the glorious Mythos again.
Then along came Frogster…and a cheer from the T1 office.
Thanks to them, Mythos is back baby! We’re sure you know that already, considering we’ve been covering/slobbering over it again for the last few months.
Better yet, we’ve teamed up with the mega online publishers to giveaway some keys for the closed beta, and it couldn’t be easier for you lucky lot to get your mitts on one. Want to see what all the fuss is about? (hint: of course you do!) Then make sure you don’t miss this.
The beta is running now, and these keys are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Once they’re gone, they’re gone – so act quickly!!

Once you have your key:
Sign up for an account:

2 – Register your account details.
3 – (Registering here will also register your new Yusho (player & billing) account. To limit hacking incidents, remember to pick a secure password. They’re not billing you for anything though, it’s just an account for all Frogster games.
Redeem the key:
4 – Go here: http://www.mythos-europe.com/en/betakey,enter.html?sec=2
5 – Put in the username that you just registered as well as the beta key.
6 – A Yusho webpage might pop up (as well as an e-mail relating to the previous stress test). Ignore both. You already registered for the account in parts 1-3.
Get the client:
7 – Download here: http://frogster.vo.llnwd.net/o9/Mythos/Clients/Mythos_Setup_GER_101223.exe
8 – Log in the game with the username and password which was registered in parts 1-3.
