Wizarbox are well-known for bringing premier adventure games to life. Recently completing Gray Matter and following up So Blonde with Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle on the Playstation 3, PC, Wii and DS, they know what makes a really great game!

Teaming up again with BAFTA nominated adventure game writer, Steve Ince, they’ve created a game that captures the essence of what it was like 300 years ago in the tropical but deadly waters of the Caribbean.

Android & iOS Game Sales ‘Surpass DS & PSP’

Games released on Apple and Google’s mobile operating systems are expected to make $1.9 billion in combined revenues across the US this year, new data suggests.

If 2011 estimates put together by analyst group Flurry are accurate, it would mean that smartphone games now bring in more revenue than DS and PSP games combined. (more…)

X-Men Destiny Launch Trailer

A new breed of mutant heroes will invade game consoles this autumn in X-Men: Destiny. The all-new original video game casts players as new mutant recruits in a rich, branching storyline that features a deep element of choice and gives players ultimate control of their destiny.

Professor Layton Coming to Facebook

professor-layton-and-the-lost-future_4b61 The popular Nintendo DS puzzle adventure series Professor Layton is making the leap to social game platforms.

Developer Level-5 has struck a deal with Japanese casual gaming company DeNA to bring Professor Layton Royale to its Mobage mobile portal. The firms made the announcement during a joint press conference in Tokyo today, reports Andriasang.

Players will be able to control a detective, thief or a citizen in the social game which is a crossover between the Layton franchise and the Kaito Royale series. (more…)

Starting with your choice of Snivy, a Grass-type Pokémon, Tepig, a Fire-type Pokémon, and Oshawott, a Water-type Pokémon- players will be able to train up and evolve their chosen Pokémon into powerful new Pokémon. There are many ways to evolve Pokémon including levelling up, using certain special items, and by trading a Pokémon with a friend.

Successfully evolve Tepig into Pignite, evolve Snivy to unleash Servine or try and evolve Oshawott into Dewott.
