Halo 4 will be created by 343 Industries instead of Bungie and the story will be set four years after the end of the war with the covenant.
Master Chief is back along with his trusty AI Cortana, after drifting in space after the events of Halo 3, they find themselves near the wreckage of the UNSC frigate Forward Unto Dawn.
343 Industries has stated that it wants to move away from Halo being solely a shooting based game and wants to focus more on exploration and adventure. They also said that the game will be grand in scope and scale and it will detail how humanity and UNSC has adapted after the war, as well as focusing heavily on the ancient race of Forerunners. This is set to be shown over a trilogy of games, the second one they claim will have a very dark very dark plot line.
Set on the deadly and mysterious Forerunner planet Requiem, Master Chief and his companion Cortana (whose AI is damaged over time and becomes rampant) must search to find out the secrets lost in time and space.

Last week Polytron, developers of the XBLA exclusive game Fez stated that they would not be fixing a game-breaking bug in the game, due to the extortionate costs patching would entail.
Here are the important excerpts from the statement they released:
“We’re bringing the first FEZ patch online. It’s the same patch. We’re not going to patch the patch. Why not? Because microsoft would charge us tens of thousands of dollars to re-certify the game.
And because as it turns out, the save file delete bug only happens to less than a percent of players. It’s a shitty numbers game to be playing for sure, but as a small independent, paying so much money for patches makes NO SENSE AT ALL. especially when you consider the alternative.”
